Natural Cheeks...
If you like your cheeks to look natural with only a hint of color, it is helpful to know where your cheeks naturally blush. Here is one way to find that out....
1. Sit down in a chair, bend over and put your head between your knees for 30 seconds.
2. When you raise your head, your cheeks will be naturally flushed with color.
3. Choose a blush color that closely resembles your natural flush of color, and then apply the blush on those areas for a natural cheek look.
Where are the Apples of My Cheeks?
Finding the apples of your cheeks is as easy as this...
Give yourself a big grin in the mirror. Notice the fleshiest part of the cheeks? These are the apples of your cheeks.

Add light to the cheeks with highlighter...
After applying blush to the apples of the cheeks, dot the center of the apples (where the sun would hit) with highlighter. Don't apply too much highlighter; add only enough to add a splash of "light" to the cheeks.
Pinching cheeks can leave permanent red or lines (broken capillaries) on the face...
Some women pinch the cheeks to find where they naturally blush, or to temporairly redden the cheeks. The danger to this is that they risk breaking tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under the skin.
When capillaries break, they leave red dots or thin lines on the face thay may never go away.
If you do, however, have broken capillaries, you can hide them with concealer.
