Bride with makeupEye Makeup for Brides

Regardless of all the advanced wedding planning, eye makeup for brides cannot be done in advance.  Brides want to look their best on their wedding day, and looking their best includes looking their best all through the day, and in their wedding photos too.

Before applying makeup on your bride's face, start with clean, and moisturized skin, followed by a makeup foundation primer for a smooth complexion, and makeup staying power.  Once the makeup foundation primer has had a chance to dry, it's time to apply the makeup foundation .

Personally I prefer dry mineral powder foundation to liquid foundation for all day coverage.  But ask your bride her preference.  Most women have strong opinions about the type of makeup foundation they are willing to wear.  Some prefer liquid makeup foundation, while others will only wear cream-to-powder foundation , and then there are women like me that won't wear anything but dry mineral powder foundation

For a soft, yet beautiful effect on the eyelids with spectacular metallic reflections, choose a  shimmering eye shadow dust.

Weddings can be filled with happy tears.  When it's time to select your bride's eyeliner and mascara , choose waterproof products. Don't forget to curl her lashes with an eyelash curler before applying her mascara.

Add glow to your bride's face with blush, and finish her makeup by dusting on a transparent makeup finishing powder.

When considering a lipstick color for your bride's lips, select a lipstick that compliments the color of your bride's blush. See our blush chart for color coordinating assistance.
