Puffy eyes, swollen eyes, or bags under the eyes are not a woman's best friend. Here are eight common and not so common puffy eye beauty tips.

If you find that on a regular basis you wake up in the morning with puffy eyes, try sleeping with your head propped up on two pillows. It could be that fluid is accumulating near your eyes causing the puffiness.

Eliminate alcohol from your diet.

An allergy to your feather pillow or down jacket could be causing your puffy eyes. Switch pillows and coats for 10 days to see if this takes care of your problem.

Get 7 to 8 hours sleep a night.

Splash cold water on your face, or hold a cold wash cloth over your eyes for a few minutes. The cold from the water constricts the blood vessels, reducing the flow of liquid; in turn this reduces the swelling around the eyes.

Try using slices of cucumbers, a cold eye mask,
or cold, moistened tea bags on your eyes for five minutes.

Use a cosmetic “eye revitalizer” daily. Repeated usage may eliminate the problem of puffy eyes.

Drink plenty of water each day to wash toxins from your body.
