To create a "natural" flush of color, only use a small amount of blush on the apple of the cheek.
For sun-kissed cheeks without the sun, choose a delicate coral or light pink blush for a fresh glow that brightens the face. These two colors work well on fair to medium skin tones. Using a very light touch, apply blush only to the cheek’s apples.
For those favorite left-over pieces of blush you can’t part with, grind them together into a fine powder, and then store your new customized blush in a container for later use.
Easily and inexpensively coordinate the color of your lips with your blush. First, apply clear lip gloss to your lips. Next, using the tip of your pinky finger, gently wipe blush over the lip gloss.
Apply blush over the lips, followed by lip gloss, for a long-lasting matte finish.
Take your favorite color of blush with you shopping. It will take the guess work out of picking a color, save you time, and money.
To quickly give the illusion of a narrower face, apply a thin line of blush vertically from the top of the cheek bone, starting under the eye's pupil, to the hollows of the cheeks.
For a more noticeable cheek bone, sweep blush only half-way across the cheek apple, starting from just below the pupil of the eye, to just below the temple.
