With all the diets available, have you ever asked yourself: What diet is right for you?
You can't reap the full benefits of a diet, unless you are able to stick with it, it fits into your life style, and you enjoy the foods.
Low Carbohydrate Diet
If it is reasonable for you to restrict bread, cereal, sugar, flour, and other carbohydrates, and you hate counting calories, a low carbohydrate diet may work best for you. 
Choose vegetarian sources of fat instead of animal fat to reduce consumption of transfats.
Dr. Adkins diet plan is probably one of the most notable low carbohydrate diets plans.
Mediterranean Diet
If you like vegetables, poultry, and fish, you may do well with the Mediterranean diet.

- Calories are restricted, and fat intake is limited; the diet is rich in vegetables and low in red meat.
- It's primary source of fat comes from olive oil and nuts, but those too are limited.
- Beef and lamb are replaced by fish and poultry - another way of reducing transfats.
The Omega Diet is a favored Mediterranean diet program.
Low Fat Diet
If fats don’t agree with your digestive system, a low fat diet may be right for you. 
- Low fat dieting restricts daily calories.
- Low fat grains, vegetables, fruit, and legumes are the main staples of the diet.
- The primary source of fat should come from plant sources rather than red meat to avoid transfats.
The American Heart Association Low Fat Diet is a favored diet.
